What to Expect During Breast Thermography
Your breast thermogram will take approximately 15 minutes.The first of two series of images of the breasts is taken after the patient disrobes above the waist and acclimates to room temperature for ten minutes. The second set is taken after the hands are submerged in cold water for one minute.
There is no radiation, no compression and no pain. Breast Thermography is as easy as having your picture taken.

Avoid Sun exposure 10 days before testing |

Do not drink alcohol 12 hours prior to the test |

Do not exercise 4 hours before |
| |
|
Do not bathe or shower within 1 hour of the exam |
| |
|
Wear loose fitting clothing and no jewelry |
| |
|
Avoid skin creams, perfume, powders or deodorants |
| |
|
Do not smoke 4 hours prior |
| |
|
No physical stimulation or treatment of the breast for 24 hours before the exam |
